Brief Description: There is a new product in town, and it is rocking the world of New LIFE; a direct selling company specialising in hygiene products!
Molly Nunis, a topline / front line / pioneer member of the company has been instructed to recruit as many new New LIFE agents and eyes the fresh and troubled May Tan. May, excited at the exciting prospect of ’shaking your legs and still money coming in’ eyes the first person she meets in the office; Kakak, the cleaner who is scrubbing for a better life.
The three women entice and tease, ponder and fantasise the possibility of a better life, based on a simple principle – belief. As they chant their mantras, sing their silly jingles, and sell the elusive product manufactured in the borders of South Korea (but packaged in Bukit Mertajam), Molly, May and Kakak slowly realise that their belief can be actually more powerful and dangerous than they think…
Jesus Lives in South Korea is a comedy drama.
