Brief Description: The traditional aspect of this event showcases traditional Chinese New Year customs and practices of the Chinese in China and the later generation of overseas Chinese in Malaysia. The diversity of cultures are shown by presenting the differences and uniqueness of the Chinese society in the different countries where Chinese ancestry originated and where the Malaysian Chinese are from.
In this modern time, the objective of this event is to present the Chinese New Year atmosphere of the city during this festive season. By showing this beautiful scene of the city, hopefully it will attract spectators to travel over to Malaysia from China or vise versa. Interaction will be enabled on TV stations in both China and Malaysia. Cultural exchange happens through this program line up. It is also possible to have live communication between both TV stations.
